Many of us are in a slumber. It's as if a spell has been cast. If you are a praying person, please join in intercession.
Father God, in the name of Jesus - I pray for an awakening of Your people. I pray that the deceptions of those who seek to lord over us are revealed. Please expose all lies and cast all evil into the outer darkness. Father God, we need boldness to stand against the enemy - the spiritual hosts of wickedness. We seek the power of Your Holy Spirit. I pray that each of us shall repent now and turn to You - the One True and Holy God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Help each of us to grow in and through your precious Son - Christ Jesus. We seek to honor You in everything that we do. Amen.
Amen precious brother! I agree that many in the body of Christ, particularly in the West, are in a terrible state of slumber! The remedy to slothfulness is to be diligent in our service to the Lord (Romans 12:11). We are called to keep our lamps aglow and to occupy until He comes (Luke 12:35-36). We are called to do the "first works" so as to keep our lamps from being extinguished (Revelation 2:5). Many in the church wait on the Lord to initiate the work that needs to be done through them, but we are called to take the initiative by stepping out and trusting Him by faith to do the work through us and to shew His power. The call of God at this hour is for the church to awake by ceasing to serve itself and start living a sacrificial life of love towards all men. I pray that the Lord will use this site as part of His greater plan to awaken the bride of Christ to the nearness of the hour in which we live.
