And walks on the wings of the wind.
He makes the winds His messengers,
Flames of fire His servants.
He set the earth on its foundations,
So that it can never be moved.
You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters stood above the mountains.
At Your rebuke the waters fled;
At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.
They flowed over the mountains
And went down into the valleys
To the place You assigned for them.

You scrutinize my path and my lying down
And are acquainted with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, You know it completely.
You have enclosed me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is too lofty for me to attain. (Psalm 139:1-6)

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, You are there;

Above it stood the seraphim; each one had six wings: with two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. And one cried to the other and said,

Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord,
Or instructed Him as His counselor?
Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten Him,
And who taught Him the path of justice?
Who taught Him knowledge
Or showed Him the way of understanding?
Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket
And are regarded as dust on the scales;
He weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.
Before Him all the nations are as nothing;
They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and worthless.

For all His works are true, and all His ways are just,
And He is able to humble those who walk in pride. (Daniel 4:17, 34-35, 37)

As I looked, thrones were set in place,
And the Ancient of Days took His seat.
His clothing was as white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was ablaze with flames,
And its wheels were a burning fire.
A river of fire was flowing
And coming out from before Him.
A thousand thousands attended Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated,
And the books were opened. (Daniel 7:9-10)

And turns deep darkness into morning
And darkens day into night,
Who calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out over the face of the earth—
The Lord is His name. (Amos 5:8)

The Lord God of hosts—
He who touches the earth and it melts,
And all who live in it mourn;
He who builds His staircase in the heavens
And founded the expanse over the earth;
He who calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out over the face of the earth—
The Lord is His name. (Amos 9:5-6)

God is jealous and the Lord avenges;
The Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath.
The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries,
And He reserves wrath against His enemies.
The Lord is slow to anger and great in power
And will not leave the guilty unpunished.
His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,
And clouds are the dust of His feet. (Nahum 1:2-3)

And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are Your judgments, and Your ways past finding out!
For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been Your counselor?
Or who has first given to You,
That You should repay him?
For from You and through You and to You are all things. To You be the glory forever! Amen. (Romans 11:33-36)

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He cleansed our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name He has inherited is more excellent than theirs. (Hebrews 1:3-4)

We see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
